The Okanagan Dog Trainer is based in Penticton, BC. My mission is to help people achieve their training goals by providing valuable tools and techniques that will give lasting results that are reliable and effective. Whether you are seeking advice regarding your new puppy or dealing with unwanted behaviors such as excessive barking or leash reactivity, it is never too early or too late to seek help for you and your dog.
I want to help people find fair boundaries for their dogs and in turn, the dog will be able to experience more freedoms and live a more happy and fulfilling life.

Dog Walking Services
All dogs need daily exercise and a change of environment from their homes. I offer dog walking services where I will pick your dog up from their home and take them for a fun adventurous walk. I will cater the walk according to your dogs needs and physical abilities.

Group Classes
I offer various fun and interactive classes where you can work with your dog in a group atmosphere. Classes are a super fun way to interact with your dog under various distractions and it also stimulates them physically and mentally.

Workshops
I offer workshops on specific topics. These 1-2 hour sessions are packed with tons of valuable information where I give you training tips to help tackle specific problems or questions that you may have.

Doggie Day School
I will take your dog during the day and train them for you. This is helpful especially for people that have very busy schedules and can't commit to a lot of training sessions. We will arrange some training sessions, at your convenience, where you can be available to participate in the training journey in order to keep your dog on track for lasting results.
Puppy Training
Bringing a new puppy home can be a bit overwhelming. My goal is to support you and make this transition as easy and stress free as possible. Many people wonder when they can start training their puppy and the answer is immediately! You can start working with your puppy as soon as you arrive home. I will help you set up a manageable routine and answer any questions that you may have. By starting your training early, you will be setting your dog up for success.

Daycare Services
Drop your dog off for a couple hours while you run some errands or leave them with me for the whole day while you go to work! I am very flexible with pickup and drop off times. My goal is to make sure your dog is safe and has tons of fun! Your dog will become part of the family and will want to come back over and over again!
Overnight Boarding
I offer overnight dog boarding for a super reasonable price! Your dog will be safe and happy in my home and they do not have to be kennelled overnight if you do not want them to be.
House Sitting Services
Are you going away on holidays and need someone to watch your home and animals? I am your answer. Some animals simply feel more comfortable in their own home so I will stay at your house and take care of them while you are away. Not only do I care for dogs, but I also have tons of experience with cats, rabbits, fish, chickens, horses and cows. I will exercise your dogs, take in your mail and water your plants. I am very clean, trustworthy and respectful of your home and have great references if required.
